I’m the son of two immigrants, have lived in 7 cities throughout the U.S., and have been lucky enough to explore well over a dozen foreign countries.
I suffer from Googling Addiction, meaning that I’m constantly researching everything that catches my interest, and am seen as the depository of random information by my friends. Most recently I looked into the African citrus wood table craze of Ancient Rome, “Menasarum Insania”.
I regularly create and run tabletop roleplaying games, where I’m the moderator (involving acting, writing, improvisation, understanding rules and knowing when to break them), and even make accompanying artwork to further inspire and immerse my players in the stories we create together.
Strategy is an extension of all the kinds of thinking that most excite me, from in-depth research to inspiring creative people to make brilliant, evocative stories. Check out some of my work to see what I mean.

A set of maps
I made for a fantasy RPG setting I designed (based on global tectonic plate mapping using G-Plates, weather pattern calculations, and my own vision). Images shown are maps displaying topography, summer temperature, summer precipitation, and estimated biomes.
An example piece of art I made to represent a location in a setting I designed for a dark-fantasy RPG.
